This classic effect is a hybrid of two classic tricks combined with some extremely clever misdirection. A marked borrowed coin is placed on the surface of a balloon, & visibly pushed thru the side of the balloon. The coin circles while inside in an elliptical manner the comes to rest inside. The balloon is popped & the marked coin is returned to its owner. Created in 1978 by magic-Ian and Received 4 stars in Genii Magazine.

There are hundreds of attempts on YouTube to perform a coin thru balloon, this is the original and still the best, well thought out, very first coin through balloon. The trick they all try to do, and try to imitate.
